Palmer Lake Part 2

Finally, here it is: Lola's first walking video! This was taken the day she made walking her preferred mode of transportation... It took a while, but well worth it!

Palmer Lake - Round 1

Dan's family has a wonderful place, 3 1/2 hours northwest of Spokane, on Palmer Lake. We went up for the 4th of July with his family, and Dan worked remotely during the weekend so we could enjoy the lake and spend the next weekend their with my family. Lola learned a few new things while we were there.

1. How to use a fork

2. How to dip her food into sauce (and then she says, "Dip it!")

3. HOW TO WALK!!!

Walking on the deck!

Splashing in her whale pool.

We surprised Uncle Andrew and put Lola in this tie-died onesie that he bought her...it was actually purchased for any child we had and he gave it to us as a wedding gift four years ago. He recognized it immediately and it just so happened that he was also wearing one of his tie-die shirts :)

Our patriotic little girl.

Just another day at the lake.

Friends

Since February, a group of moms who I did Team in Training with have been meeting every week for a "moms run" with our strollers and kids in tow. Afterwards, we hang out at a coffee shop for awhile and let out kiddos play. A few weeks ago, we had a very special visit from our friends, Tali and Risa, with their mom, Toni. They live in Atlanta now, and this was their first trip back since March.

We were in Seattle with Toni and the girls, and went our to breakfast with Dan and Jesse. Risa gave a big hig to Tali & Lola after we ate.

After breakfast, we played at the park in Green Lake. Lola loves the swings :)
