Halloween magic turned Lola into a fairy princess, and Mac into a brave knight. The weekend before Halloween, the kids ran in the Monster Dash at Manito Park. Turns out ball gowns are not made for running in. Lucky for her, Dan saved the day and gave her a ride on his back the rest of the way! Halloween weekend we headed to Seattle for another trick-or-treating outing with the Flaherty family.
We hadn't been to Pike Place Market to explore and see the flying fish since Mac was a baby. He loved experiencing the flying fish, but wasn't very impressed with the pig. He put his money in and immediately said, "My wish didn't come true." Apparently I didn't explain that one ahead of time!
After Halloween, we visited the zoo with the Flaherty's, saw the troll with the Bennett's, and ended our Seattle trip with a visit to meet Morgan & Nolan's sweet baby, Cruz Levi. It's so exciting to have little boys so close to each in age!
