Amazing

Lola is making me so proud of her lately. I am amazed at how much she is learning and accomplishing these days. She is growing up so quickly these days!
At gymnastics, her coach taught them how to "skin the cat" by grabbing onto the rings, pulling themselves up and slowly flipping themselves up and backwards. Lola did it with ease and I was shocked and just how strong her little body is!

Lola came into my room the other morning and told me she was going to make a to-do list for getting ready that morning, with boxes so she could check things off her list (I have a serious love for list-making and was so excited that my little organized girl thought of this on her own! haha!) She came up with the ideas and asked for help sounding the words out. I just love her!
The St. Aloysius Fund Run was last week. Lola was excited for weeks, sending out letters and setting a goal for how many laps she would run. I had no clue how long they would run for, so we came up with running five laps since she is five years old. When Mac and I showed up to watch, I discovered that they were running for ten minutes, and my little Lo ran the entire time without stopping, and completing 16 laps! I was so proud of her and amazed!

Celebrating with snow cones. So fun!

Mom

My mom is the reason I have pictures on my walls, paint on my furniture, rooms arranged, and a plan for my patio. I do not know how I would feel as settled in my new house as I do without her help, guidance, and design expertise. She also came to my rescue to help entertain Mac when Lola had a terrible stomach bug when Dan was out of town. I am SO lucky to have her close by, and we all are grateful for our time with her!

Out for a walk with Macky Boy - saving me while I take care of Lola
A visit from the Elk. Mom and I caught them chasing turkeys around. It was so fun to see!
Spoiled with sleeping in and breakfast in bed from my sweet family
Me and my three kids :)
Low-key afternoon on the patio for Mother's Day dinner
A turquoise Glassybaby from Nana- she's been dying to add some turquoise to my house ;)

The kids picked out the sweetest gifts for Nana to bring on her first trip to Europe. Mac gave her an eye mask and ear plugs for the plane, and Lola gave her a turquoise luggage tag.

Great minds think alike... Nana's first Glassybaby drinkers! She had her first glass of wine in them, but I believe she is looking forward to warm weather and Stevo's famous margaritas in them!
Picking some lilacs for me and Nana

 Fairy gardens at Nana's
My kiddos (and Dan) spoiled me on Mother's Day. Mac picked out some of my favorite chocolates, Lola gave me a gift certificate to have a girls night at Polka Dot Pottery to paint together, and Dan gave me a gift certificate for a house cleaner. The greatest gift my kids have been giving me is their friendship with each other. They are just so sweet and love spending their time together. I love watching and listening to them each day. If only I could freeze time...
