Sweet Kids

Lola and Mac have been playing so much together. It is so much fun to see them both watching each other, following one another around, and laughing with each other. They are so amused with one another.

Painting & Play dough

Getting to do big kid things. Last weekend, Lola got to help Dan paint the shed. Mac watched from the back door, yelling out "Hi Lola! Hi Dan!" and I thought he needed a big kid project too. He hasn't quite moved beyond putting thing in his mouth, but we took a chance with play dough anyway. It was fairly successful for about ten minutes.

My Best Friends Wedding

Meghan, one of my dearest friends, married the love of her life, David, in one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been to. So full of love and so much fun. I was honored to be a bridesmaid and Lola loved every moment of being a flower girl with David's niece from England, Phoebe Lola.
One of the best parts of the day was being at the Rowlands house, getting pampered for the big day!

Hair done, dress on, almost ready for her big moment, and looking older and sweeter than I could have imagined.

Riding in the bus together, on our way to the reception.
 The Mr. and Mrs.
Me and my handsome little guy
All dressed up, ready to party!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. O'Neill!

Last of our Seattle summer days

While in town preparing for the Ro'Neill festivities, we spent a few beautiful days soaking up the last of our Seattle summer visits. Playing with the Bennett girls is one of our favorite things to do, whether in Seattle, Spokane, Leavenworth, Hawaii, etc. We love this family!

Having some game time with Rachy after bath time. Rach the preschool teacher is constantly entertaining Lola with songs, games, and stories from her classroom. Lola loves it all.
Finally flying Lola's kite in Seattle. We went to Gasworks park one morning, climbed a hill, caught a bit of wind and a whole lot of view. Lola sang "Let's Go Fly a Kite" during the trek up the hill.
