Sick Days

Poor little Mac has been so under the weather. We finally figured out he had a double ear infection and pneumonia, and needless to say, have been spending much time at home to help get this little guy better. Lola has been such a trooper and together, she and I have been coming up with all sorts of things to do to keep busy in our house.
Sweet little sleepy guy.
 What a look.
Pretending to be in a car together.
Painting on the easel together. Mac's first time. So cute and fun, however we did have paint on the floors, wall and carpet by the end of it. Thank goodness for washable paint.

Mac would check out Lola's work every minute or so and say, "Good job Lola!" Very impressed with his big sister.
After naps, it has been so dark in the afternoons that we decided to break out some glow sticks from the dollar store and have a dance party. Lola was especially into this.

Glow stick drumming too.
 Family yoga time.

 Love this.
Which one is a better butterfly?
When this Amazon box arrived, Lola wanted to play with it right away, calling it their boat.
 Lewis & Clark?

Some Bub snuggles definitely help make Mac feel better. He really loves his Bub.
Cute kids. Lucky to have each other.

Jimmy

My...how these kids love their Jimmy (otherwise known as Jamie or Jim)

Seahawks

Dan and I had the opportunity to go the a Seattle Seahawks game with our good friends. Dan's best bud- Nolan- is a scout for the team and got us great tickets for the game. Dan is a lifetime fan and had never been to the game so he was extremely excited to go. We packed our kids up and headed over the mountains again to Seattle. We even squeezed in a quick visit to the Woodland Park Zoo since it was a half priced rainy day. THANK YOU Rachael & James for watching our kids all day so we could have an adult Funday Sunday with our friends!
Sleeping to Seattle.
 Sleepless and enjoying the sunset
Zoo time with Kinslee and the monkeys
Loving the monkeys
Tea time for the boys before the game (meanwhile, the girls enjoyed mimosas!)
The view from our amazing seats

Kerry, Morgan, Liz and I had a great time watching the Seahawks come back to beat the Buccanneers! Such a great day!!! Thank you Morgan & Nolan for including us the game day festivities!

Aloha! Happy Halloween!

I asked Lola in August what she would like to be for Halloween, and she decided she would like to dress up as a hula girl. When we were in Hawaii, we got to see a Hula school perform the last night we were there, and Lola absolutely loved watching the little kids dance. She's been practicing ever since and was so excited to hula on Halloween. Mac went as a monkey (a hand-me-down costume of Lola's). The first time I put the costume on him, he ran around in it for forty five minutes. He is very happy to be a warm little monkey!

A little leaf art in the morning to keep busy.

Awake from naps and ready for action!
We went to a few family friends houses, then to Nana & Bubs for some neighborhood trick-or-treating and pizza with cousins Joe & Molly.

The Candy Witch ;) snuck into the house and switched out most of their loot for a prize. She brought Mac a play toaster - he's so into the buttons and making toast for others!
She brought a play cake for Lola. Lola's response was, "wow, that Candy Witch sure does know what we like!" Yes she does.

Pumpkin Everything

Pumpkin painting, pumpkin picking, pumpkin doughnuts, pumpkin carving...what would October be without pumpkins?
My little pumpkin ;) So big now climbing up onto the kitchen stepstool to help with anything and everything.
 Busy pumpkin painters
 Mac...the unfocused pumpkin painter
 Lola...focused ;)
4 little munchkins sitting in a tree.
Our annual Flaherty family trip to Greenbluff- 4th year in a row! This year, Kinslee and Lola got to have their first sleepover!
It turns out this was the best way to keep them all together to get a picture of all of them!
 Tractor time
 Pumpkin buddies

These girls are seriously such sweet friends.

Leaf jumping in the front yard. This year Mac joined in with the raking and rolling around. They loved it.

Time to carve the pumpkins to have them ready in time for Halloween!

 Nana, drilling her Pinterest pumpkins.

Happy Pumpkin Season!
