Sunshine, Rain & Yoga

For his birthday, Mac got a slip'n'slide from his Meghan, his godmother. We tried it our on the first warm day and the kids love it. Mac's favorite part is getting to wet it down with the hose (possible future fire fighter?) After a few slow attempts, Lola got the hang of running and jumping onto the slip'n'slide. She looks like a little boogie boarder. I am envisioning many trips to the ocean in her future!

 Fun for all ages ;)

Later in the day, we got to enjoy more water play in the backyard. I love that the kids see rain outside and run to put on their boots to enjoy it.

Evening yoga. Both of the kids are really getting good!

My little Macky-Boy. The Mac Attack. Two.

Mac is so full of life. He is one of the most curious, fun-loving, and adventurous kids I have ever known. He has a knack for keeping us on our toes, encouraging Lola to take a few more risks than she otherwise would, and making us all laugh. Dan always thought he was a "jokster" and that he is. Above all else, he is a love bug- such a snuggler and such a sweet boy. When I put him down to sleep, and tuck him in, every day I kiss him and say, "Good night Macky. I love you forever," and every time he responds, "and ever and ever," with a huge smile on his face. As busy as he can be, he always stops to run over, asked to be picked up, and will give hugs and kisses for a few minutes before he hops back down to continue his exploring. I am so in love with my little buddy, and he seems to have a knack for making everyone he meets fall under his spell. My hope for him is that he continues to love as hard as he does right now, never stops being curious (even thought it means sometimes getting into a little trouble), and always finding the opportunity to laugh and have fun.
