Pumpkins!

Our annual trip to Greenbluff with the Flaherty's was a success! This year, we hit up the Harvest House for pumpkin doughnuts and apple cider, but then went exploring to the Greenbluff Gardens where we picked our pumpkins from the patch this year. It was a lot of fun, and next year we will go back for apple picking too!

Lola and Kinslee, in search of the perfect pumpkin.

Success!

and later, pumpkin painting!

First Goal!

Nana bought Lola her first soccer ball and goal (which Dan has been very excited about). I tried to teach her how to kick the ball the other day and all she wanted to do was run up to the ball and hit it with her hand.

Rolling the ball into the goal. Time for dad to step in!

She got it on the first try! (seriously, how could I not teach her this...I'm a teacher! I guess there are some things that dad's need to do:)

Fun on the Farm

We spent some time up at Dan's family property on Peone Prairie, out north by Greenbluff. We hope to live out there one day, and love driving here and hiking around, planning out where we want to build a house one day :)

Teaching Lola about wheat, and taste testing.

A little catching up...

Wow...it's been awhile since I've added to this! As luck would have it, both of our laptops pretty much died at the same time, leaving us with no computer for a bit. Now that we bought a new laptop, here's a recap on the past month :)

Cheers!

First attempt at hitting a baseball. (It was a success)

Hanging out at the splash pad.

Building a house at Mobius Children's Museum.

Exploring the water table with Nana.

Pigtails at the lake.

Hippie Chick - Posing with Grandma Linda, who turned 64. We all got together at the lake for her brithday and dressed like hippies while performing the Beatles, "When I'm 64"

Discovering the outdoor shower.

Hanging out on the Relaxation Station...thank you Jense, Lauralee and Kinslee for bringing this! We think we might have to purchase one of these for the lake!

Posing for the camera, and hanging out on Gram & Papa's bench.

She also loves David...watch out Meghan!
