We picked one of the hottest days to visit the Denver Zoo, but what a fun-filled day. The kiddos were finally feeling better and loved seeing the animals. A definite highlight of our trip.
One of our favorite parts of our zoo day was the water play area. The kids loved the stream, using nets to catch floating pinecones, and floating boats. We spent about an hour here, having fun and cooling off.
Bodhi the Elephant. Mac slept in the shady stroller while Lola loved every minute of the elephant show, mostly loving watching him swim. Who knew an elephant could swim?
Nana bought Lola her own Bodhi to bring home, and a panda for Mac.
