It's amazing how I can suggest ten things to do with the kids to pass the time before Dan comes home, and as soon as I come up with, "Well, how about I put some paper on the floor and you can draw," the kids go wild, start to draw together, and are calm and getting along for over twenty minutes. Amazing.
