St. Nicholas Day
It has been my hope to keep this tradition alive as long as possible- including the all day pajama-wearing, school-skipping festive day together. This year, slippers were included with matching jammies, and we received three new books; A Wish to be a Christmas Tree, The Little Drummer Boy, and a touch and feel One Night in Bethlehem. We had hot cocoa with breakfast, decorated wrapping paper for gifts, made nativity Christmas ornaments, and baked together.
