Nana, Bubsy, and the North Pole

We had a busy night on Saturday, inviting Nana & Bub over to flip back and forth between the Zags and Nebraska games, eating taco soup, reading library books, dressing up, dancing, and singing.
Nana was holding Mac and he looked at her and opened his mouth like a little bird. Apparently it was time for Nana to feed Mac some food! We mashed up a banana and he ate it up. He is such a good eater, loving everything we've fed him so far.
Nana read through recipes with Lola. It was so entertaining to listen to their conversation. "This recipe has green beans"- Nana. "I don;t like green bean, Nana" -Lola "Do you like peas?" "Yes" "Well then you could substitute the peas and have them instead of green beans." "Oh! That's a really good idea! Let's substitute the peas, Nana!"
 Mac relaxed with Bubsy.
Lola got her silk scarves out to dance with, and ended up dressing up and dancing around for us instead.
On Sunday night, we went to dinner and the Holiday Boat cruise in Coeur d'Alene with Nana and Bub.
Bub and Mac on the boat, staying warm inside!

We took Lola up to the deck to get a better view of the lights, North Pole, and Santa.
At the North Pole, listening to Santa. He read off a list of the kids who he was excited to bring presents to on Christmas...he read Lola and Mac's names! Lola is thinking that he might bring her a teddy bear, or maybe some little dolls, but definitely candy. (Last week, she was thinking that he would bring her a chair).
Santa and one of his elves.
 The North Pole
It's pretty magical watching Lola listen to Santa talk and yell out, waving to him. It really is the most wonderful time of the year :)
