Oh my sweet little Hank. Our Hanky Panky. As Mac fondly refers to him, "Hanky Panky Poo." This first year of his life was our fastest year yet, and we are definitely making time to stop and appreciate your innocent, sweet little self. We call you our "Happy Hank" because you are such a smiley, easy going baby. You intently watch everything your brother and sister do, and smile and laugh right along with them. You love music, especially in the car. Your favorites this year were "Lost Boy" by Ruth B, "Hello" by Adele, "Can't Stop the Feeling" by Justin Timberlake, "If you're happy and you know it" and "You are my sunshine". You love all fruit. I think you could live off of just fruit, but you will eat cheese, scrambled eggs, and pancakes!
We celebrated your birthday with sprinkle pancakes, one year old pictures, dinner and dessert with Nana, Bub, Paul and Dawn, and then we headed up to the lake the next day to celebrate with Grandma Linda and Grandpa Jack. It turns out that you didn't like brownies, ice cream, or cupcakes, but prefer fruit for dessert!
You are such a light, and we are so blessed to be around you every day.
