I have a very difficult time with the last day of summer break. The transition back to school, heading out of the house five days a week, and not having Lola around for our every day adventures is so hard for me. I love watching Lola and Mac play together. They are fierce friends, and have such imaginative play together. Mac misses her very much when she's not around, and this year, she will be gone for the whole day. Unfortunately, half day 1st grade isn't an option : / They had such a wonderful summer together, and this last day of summer play at home, I am soaking up every giggle and snuggle they have together. I am very thankful for our memories as a family of five that we had this summer.
