There is a family of Elk who we share our forest land with, and when they make an appearance, we tend to get pretty excited about seeing them. We have witnessed them playfully chasing turkeys and deer, but usually see them in groups of three or four. The other night, there were nine of them roaming around our property. The kids went to bed a half an hour later than planned because we HAD to stay up and watch them graze, climb rocks, and play around. I'm not sure I'll ever get tired of seeing them. I hope our kids will always love it too!
