After our time in Nebraska, we piled into the minivan and made our way across the Great Plains toward Bartelso, Illinois. Starting off in Nebraska, we made a quick loop through Iowa, drove into Kansas, through Missiouri, and into Illinois. We took a long lunch in Kansas City at Bub's childhood favorite BBQ spot- Gates Bar-B-Q. Delicious! The kids did great traveling, listening to music and audiobooks. When we were passing through St. Louis, an hour from our destination, we started to see cities on road signs that we in the south and east coast. Dan and I were so proud of our mini-travelers and decided that more road trip to see our great country are definitely in our future!
