On our last day, we hit up a few of our favorite rides again, and had a few last items on our to-do list. We spent Magic Morning in CarsLand and BugLand on the rides, and then we surprised the kids with something Dan had scheduled...breakfast at Ariel's Grotto. Lola was beyond ecstatic to be going, but once we got there and the princesses started arriving, Mac was enamored ;)
After omelets and pancakes, we met characters from Toy Story per Mac's request! Then we spent a long time climbing, swimming and sliding in an Adventure area, working quite a sweat o that we could have a rootbeer float at the Cozy Cone Motel before naps. We caught the Mickey Soundsational Parade, watched an amazing performance of Mickey and the Magical Map, and then found a spot on the street to have PB & J and watch the Paint the Night Parade for the second time. The kids absolutely LOVED it and still danced, sang, and were excited about every single part. We made it back to our hotel room just in time to watch the fireworks before melting into bed, yet again!
Four days was amazing, exhausting, magical, and filled with smiles, laughs, singing an dancing. Incredibly, Dan was able to completely take a break from work and enjoy every moment of our family time. It was such a huge gift. I very much look forward to going back in a few years when Hank can experience the magic, rather happily snooze through most of it :)
